Han började sin professionella danskarriär i Peru år 1997, och fortsatte att utveckla sin stil inom kubansk dans med hjälp av kubanska Maestros (mästare) i Los Angeles, California, i 6 år. År 2008 startade han upp en dansskola i Peru, och vann därefter Peruanska mästerskapen i kubansk salsa och Rueda de Casino två år i rad (2010 och 2011). Han flyttade till Stockholm år 2015, och håller numera i klasser/kurser och workshops inom latinska danser i Stockholm, Uppsala, Eskilstuna, Västerås och många andra städer. År 2018 tog han hem titeln som Världsmästare i Rueda de Casino med sin svenska professionella dansgrupp, "Arturo Rojas y su Grupo Agua", i Malaga, Spanien. Han har även tagit tredjeplatsen i världsmästerskapen inom Rueda de Casino i Norge år 2016. Arturo har åkt på festivaler och kongresser i Kuba, USA, Spanien, Sverige, Mexico bl.a. där han både undervisat och själv lärt sig mycket. Han organiserar även kongresserna “De La Habana a Eskilstuna”, “Cubamania” i Stockholm, “Mama Rumba Festival” i Uppsala och "De La Habana a Perú" i Peru. Alla med kubanska dansare, artister och band i världsklass.
